During a recent trip to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sistersvietnam.com\">Southeast Asia<\/a>, I found the following items essential to long distance, dry air travel (I&#8217;ve had allergies over the years):<Ul><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sinucleanse.com\">Sinucleanse<\/a> twice daily.  Works better, for me, than any of the allergy meds.\n<li>A bottle of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sinucleanse.com\/why_product_squeeze.htm?link_id=1\">nasal saline solution<\/a>.  I used this at least hourly on the long flights and found that it made a big difference.\n<li>I drank a great deal of water (and made sure that I purchased a large bottle at the airport prior to departure). Airlines can sometimes (often?) skimp on water.\n<li>I also carried some aspirin.\n<li>I did not pack all that well for the long dry air, but fortunately found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cadburyschweppes.com\/EN\/Brands\/About\/Confectionery\/factsheet_halls.htm\">some Hall&#8217;s drops in Tokyo<\/a><\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qantas.com.au\/info\/flying\/inTheAir\/yourHealthInflight#jump0\">Quantas airlines<\/a> has a useful page on long distance flight health tips.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dave mentioned that he arrived in Rome &#8220;clogged up&#8220;.
