It was constructed to commemorate Roman victories, including the Siege of Jerusalem [3].  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zmetro.com\/photos\/2017\/04\/IMG_0325.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zmetro.com\/photos\/2017\/04\/IMG_0325.JPG\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While Stuart eloquently described Titus, I recalled Christ&#8217;s words in Luke 19:41-44 [4]:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, \u201cIf you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace\u2014but now it is hidden from your eyes. 43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls.
