New research from Uppsala University shows that people with high fitness levels in their late teens also have a reduced risk of dying from random accidents. This suggests that the associations seen in previous studies have probably been misleading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have done the same thing using an Economist <a href=\"https:\/\/halcrawford.substack.com\/p\/the-economists-global-rip-off\">subscription<\/a> as the singular item in the basket, rather than a hamburger. What picture of the world emerges and how does it compare to the Big Mac index?<a class=\"image-link image2 is-viewable-img\" href=\"https:\/\/substackcdn.com\/image\/fetch\/f_auto,q_auto:good,fl_progressive:steep\/https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fb6a750bd-9dac-4271-ab66-4243d4978fbf_1592x1524.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s one catch: <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalandmain.com\/solar-grants-held-hostage-in-pennsylvania-legislature-as-demand-soars\">Tunkhannock\u2019s plan to go solar is contingent<\/a> upon winning more than $1 million in funding from the state\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dced.pa.gov\/programs\/solar-for-schools-grant-program-s4s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Solar for Schools program<\/a>.
